Synthetic Wigs

WASH THEM THE RIGHT WAY!

  • DETANGLE FIRST

Before washing, gently detangle the dry wig from the ends upward using a wide-tooth comb or wig brush. Never aggressively brush or comb a wet wig.

  • PREPARE COOL WATER

Fill a basin with cool water and add a small amount of shampoo formulated for synthetic wigs. Avoid hot water—heat can damage and frizz the fibers.

  • WASH GENTLY

Submerge the wig and gently swish it through the water. Never rub, scrub, twist, or wring the fibers. Let it soak for 5–10 minutes if needed.

  • RINSE

Rinse thoroughly with clean, cool water until all shampoo is removed and the water runs clear.

  • CONDITION

Apply a lightweight wig-safe conditioner or conditioning spray from mid-shaft down to the ends. Avoid the cap and roots. Rinse or leave in as directed.

  • BLOT & AIR DRY

Gently blot excess water with a soft towel. Never squeeze or wring. Place the wig on a wig stand and allow it to air dry completely before brushing or styling.

INFINITE TRESSES GOLDEN RULES

Use only products made for synthetic wigs. Regular hair products can weigh down and damage the fibers.
feature-item-2
Wash only when needed. Over washing can dry out and cause frizz or tangling.
feature-item-3
Be gentle—synthetic fibers are delicate. Avoid excessive friction.
feature-item-4
Store your wig on a stand or in the Infinite Tresses satin bag in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
feature-item-5
